How BigM handles your data

Last updated 19 October 2026 · Applies to bigm.live and the BigM client platform

Who we are

BigM is registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (IFZA free zone), with teams in Dubai, Munich and Istanbul. For anything about your data, write to hello@bigm.live.

1. Visiting bigm.live

The website itself sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security and to keep the site running; these are not used to identify visitors and are deleted on rotation.

The figures shown on the home page are totals from BigM's own systems. Loading them does not send us anything about you beyond the standard server log.

2. Booking a call

When you book a call at bigm.live/book we store the name, email address, company and notes you type, and the time you chose. We use them to hold the call, send the confirmation and the video link, and prepare for the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list. To change or cancel a booking, or to have it deleted, reply to the confirmation email or write to hello@bigm.live.

To limit abuse, the booking service keeps a hashed form of your IP address for a short time to rate-limit repeated attempts.

3. Working with BigM as a client

Clients connect their own LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, Instagram or Telegram accounts to the BigM platform. BigM uses those connections only to send messages the client has approved, to the leads BigM identified, and to read the replies to those messages. BigM does not read or respond in the client's other conversations.

For each client workspace we process: public business signals about companies, contact details of the people we identify at those companies, draft messages, the approval decisions of the client's team, and the resulting conversations. The client decides what is sent; BigM keeps a log of who approved, edited or rejected each message and when.

Before any text is sent to an AI model, BigM replaces personal data such as names, company names, phone numbers and amounts with placeholder tokens. The table that maps tokens back to the original values stays on BigM systems and is used to restore the text afterwards.

Where BigM processes personal data on a client's behalf, the client is the controller and BigM the processor. We sign a data-processing agreement on request.

4. People we contact on behalf of clients

If you received a message through BigM, it was sent from the account of the company named in it, after that company approved it. We identified you from public business information such as a company announcement, a job listing, a tender, a public post or a business directory. You can ask the company or BigM at any time which source that was, and ask us to stop contacting you; we keep a suppression record so you are not contacted again through BigM.

5. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or receive a copy. Write to hello@bigm.live. We answer within one month. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

6. Retention and security

Booking details are kept for as long as needed to hold the call and follow up, then deleted on request or on our periodic review. Client workspace data is kept for the duration of the engagement and deleted or exported when the client leaves, except where we must keep records for accounting or legal reasons. Access to BigM systems is restricted to the founders and the systems that need it, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.

7. Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced to clients by email.
