A deal is attributed to BigM when (1) BigM found the contact and the company was not in the client's pipeline or on the client's exclusion list, (2) the first conversation with that company came through a message the client approved, and (3) the deal closed within 45 days of that first conversation. The success fee of 20% applies to the first order from that buyer.
BigM standard agreement, 2026-10-20The three conditions in practice
- We found the contact. At setup you give us an exclusion list: customers, open opportunities, accounts your team already works. Anything on it never counts, even if we reach it by accident. Everything else we surface from a public buying signal is ours to claim only if the next two conditions also hold.
- The first conversation came through an approved message. You approve each message before it is sent from your own LinkedIn, email or WhatsApp account. The approval log records who was contacted, which message you approved and when the first reply arrived. If a company replies to an inbound channel of yours before any approved message went out, it is not attributed.
- It closed within the window. 45 days from the first conversation in the standard agreement. Longer sales cycles can set a longer window in writing before the engagement starts; the window never changes mid-engagement.
Edge cases, answered in advance
| Situation | Attributed? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer we contacted orders twice in the window | First order only | The 20% applies to the first order; repeat business is yours. |
| Buyer replies on day 50 after an approved message, orders on day 60 | No | Outside the 45-day window measured from the first conversation. |
| Company was in your CRM as a lost deal two years ago | Depends on the exclusion list | If you listed it, no. If you did not, and we found it from a fresh signal, yes. |
| You stop the engagement; a conversation that started last week closes next month | Yes, if inside the window | Stopping ends new outreach, not conversations already started. |
| Your team closes a deal with the parent company of a contact we found | Settled by the log | If the first conversation with the group came through an approved message, yes; otherwise no. |
How disagreements are settled
The approval log is shared and read-only for both sides. It lists, per company: the signal that surfaced it, the date, the message you approved, the account it went from, and the first reply. Either side can export it. If the log does not show an approved message before the first conversation, the deal is not attributed. There is no committee and no "reasonable efforts" clause.
Questions
Why 45 days?
It is long enough for a first order in the markets we work (industrial goods, property, wholesale) and short enough that a deal your own team worked for months is not claimed by us. A different window can be agreed in writing before the start.
What if the buyer we found introduces us to a sister company?
The sister company is a new company: it is attributed only if its first conversation also came through an approved message.
Can we see the exclusion list we gave you?
Yes. It is part of the agreement and can be extended at any time; additions apply from the date they are added.
