Definitions
| Figure | Counts | Does not count |
|---|---|---|
| Companies with a buying signal on record | A company the first time one of its public signals matched a client's target profile. | Companies in a client's exclusion list; companies seen without a matching signal. |
| Buying signals captured | Each public event the engine recorded and matched: a tender, a new licence, a hiring post, a request in a trade community, an expansion notice. | Duplicates of the same event from a second source. |
| Decision-makers mapped | Named people traced to a signalling company with a role that can decide the purchase. | Generic inboxes; people at companies without a signal. |
| Market scans completed | One completed sweep of one market (country and category) for one client. | Partial or failed sweeps. |
| Meetings booked | A meeting the buyer accepted after a message the client approved. | Inbound meetings; meetings from the client's own outreach. |
Method
The figures are totals in the BigM production database across every client workspace since the engine went live in April 2026. They are served by a public, read-only endpoint and are not edited by hand. They move only when the engine records something new, so they can go for hours without changing and then move by hundreds after a scan. Nothing on this page is a forecast or a sample.
What the figures are not: they are not a count of deals, revenue or clients. Deal attribution is defined on the attributed deal page, and client names are never published.
How to cite
BigM, "Live buying-signal data", bigm.live/data, read on [date]: [figure] [metric].Quote the figure with the date you read it. The endpoint is the source; the page is its display.
Questions
Can I get the figures by market or by category?
Not publicly yet. On a call we show what the engine sees for your category and countries.
Why do the numbers sometimes not move for a long time?
Because they are real. The engine records in batches after each scan; between scans nothing changes.
Do the numbers include your own test data?
No. Only client workspaces are counted.
